March 25, 2026 PicoClaw Team announces WeChat support is now available
Your AI assistant can now chat with you directly inside WeChat
WeChat + PicoClaw = ?
From Discord to QQ, from DingTalk to Feishu, PicoClaw already integrates with 18 chat platforms
But the question we hear most from users in China has always been:
“When is WeChat support coming?”
Today, that question has an answer
PicoClaw now officially supports personal WeChat account integration!
No enterprise WeChat, no Official Account, no Service Account needed —
Just use your own WeChat account, scan a QR code, and PicoClaw becomes your WeChat AI assistant
All conversations are processed locally — no third-party servers involved
Done in Two Steps
The whole process takes less than a minute.
Click the “WeChat” channel in the web UI

Or run one command in the terminal:
picoclaw auth weixin

Scan the QR code and your WeChat becomes an AI assistant portal
If prompted to update, follow the on-screen instructions
That’s it!

Say hello to ClawBot — PicoClaw will reply automatically
What Can It Do?
The experience is identical to every other platform:
- Everyday chat, Q&A, translation
- Web search for real-time information
- File processing, code generation
- Reminders and scheduling
- Extend with any capability via MCP — query live stock prices, fetch the latest technical docs, or connect your own tools and services
Everything you can do on QQ, you can do on WeChat
Things to Know
- This feature is rolling out gradually. If it doesn’t work for you yet, join the community group or wait a short while
- The WeChat ClawBot plugin is an officially provided capability by Tencent. PicoClaw connects through the official API
- For security, we recommend running PicoClaw on your own device
- This feature currently supports personal use only — sharing with others or use in group chats is not yet supported
